Description Selects function to be assigned to BACKLIGHT/CONT. in the picture/ volume adjusting menu. Adjusts the BACKLIGHT. Adjusts the CONTRAST. Adjusts the backlight when the B.LIGHT/CONT. submenu is set to CONTRAST. Positions the on-screen menu. Center of the screen Left Bottom Right Bottom Right Top Left Top Sets display state for input signal status (on-screen menu). Not displayed. Displayed for 3 seconds after a status change. Displayed at all times Loads saved factory defaults (FACTORY) or user data (USER1 - USER5). After loading user data, the screen displays the signal selected before user data was loaded. Up to 5 sets of user data can be saved (J page 22). They save menu settings and adjustments made in the picture/volume adjusting menu (PHASE/CHROMA/BRIGHT/CONTRAST/BACKLIGHT) except "SETUP SAVE/SETUP LOAD." Selects the settings used when the power is turned on. Starts in the mode used when the power was last turned off. Starts up using the factory defaults. Starts up using USER registered settings. Sets the power save mode Does not activate the POWER SAVE mode. The backlight dims when no signal (NO SIGNAL) is input for 60 seconds or longer. Signal input or menu operation will return the backlight to its normal brightness. Connect a CA-210 color analyzer and use this submenu to make a calibration. It also returns calibration data to factory defaults. (J page 33, 34) *1 When the monitor is shipped, settings for "USER1" - "USER5" are identical to "FACTORY." *2 "H SHIFT" (J page 24), "H POSITION", "V POSITION", "PHASE" and "CLOCK" (J page 41) cannot be saved or loaded. *3 So that there is no confusion with 2D mode when working in 3D mode, STATUS DISPLAY will display information as per the "CONTINUE" setting even if "3SEC OFF" is selected. 32
