Using VIERA Link ■■Using [VIERA LINK] You can control some functions of the connected device with the controls or remote control of this projector. zzIf operation is not possible, check the settings of the device. zzFor details on operating an external device, see the manual of the relevant device. Press the button. Alternatively, select [VIERA LINK] from [OTHER FUNCTIONS] in the [OPTION] menu, and then press the button. zzThe [VIERA LINK] menu is displayed. (RECORDER / PLAYER / HOME THEATER / CAMCORDER / LUMIX / DIGITAL CAMERA / OTHER) zz[HOME THEATER] is a system that includes the projector, an audio output device, and a video output device. zz[OTHER] indicates tuner (such as the set top box) VIERA LINK ENTER SELECT RETURN VIERA LINK CONTROL HOME THEATER VOLUME HOME THEATER MUTE OPERATE OTHER DEVICE RECORDER 4) Use the menu of the device. zzYou can use the controls of the projector as well as the buttons on the remote control. (The functions that you can use depend on the connected device.) If you access a device other than a VIERA Link device VIERA LINK CONTROL RECORDER 1 The type of the connected device is displayed. You can access the menu of the device, but cannot use it. Use the remote control of the device to operate it. If multiple recorders or players are connected You can connect up to three recorders or players at the same time. VIERA LINK CONTROL RECORDER 1 Recorder 1 - 3 / Player 1 - 3 Devices of the same type connected to the HDMI terminals (1/2/3) on this projector are registered in an order starting from the smallest number. For example, if two recorders are connected to HDMI 2 and HDMI 3 respectively, the recorder connected to HDMI 2 is displayed as [RECORDER 1], and the recorder connected to HDMI 3 is displayed as [RECORDER 2]. Note zzSome operations may not be available depending on the device. In this case, use its own remote control to operate the device. (The colored buttons operations, such as changing the date of TV program for Blu-ray Disc Recorder cannot be controlled by the projector remote control.)  The menu of the accessed device appears.
