Formatting a microSD card When you perform formatting, even if the recycle bin function is turned on, all files are completely erased (microSD card initialization). Once a file is erased, it cannot be recovered. Therefore, before formatting, check the contents of recorded files on the microSD card. If necessary, back up any required files to your PC or an external device before erasing all data. Formatting a microSD card
