MIC ALC When recording meetings and talks, turn on the "MIC ALC" setting. When recording musical instruments or sound from the nature where you want to manually adjust the recording level, turn off this setting. How to adjust recording level (page 59) • If you change the "MIC ALC" setting to "OFF", while in the recording standby state, you can set "MIC SENS.", "LOW CUT FILTER", "EXT INPUT", and "REC EQ". • When the "MIC ALC" setting is "OFF", the current recording level appears on the right side of the microphone sensitivity icon.
