Viewing the unit's folders and files from your PC This manual uses the screen of a microSD card (already formatted by the unit) inserted in the unit for explanation. In this case, "XPS01" appears. 1 Connect the unit to your PC. Connecting your PC (page 157) 2 Open My Computer. Click My Computer from the Start menu, or double-click the My Computer icon on the Desktop. 3 Open the XPS01. Double-click "XPS01". If XPS01 does not appear (page 162) The unit's folders appear. About files/folders (page 27) • Drive name for the microSD card If the microSD card is formatted by the unit, it appears as "XPS01". If no microSD card is inserted in the unit or the a microSD card not formatted by the unit is inserted, "removable disk" will appear. • If you change from your PC names of MP3 files or WAV files recorded on the unit, playback of these files in their original folder becomes not possible. To solve this problem, you can rename the files following the naming rule, or move them to the MUSIC folder and then play them. (page 28) 161
