Substitute Reception to Memory
In situations where printing is not possible, such as when your fax
runs out of paper, the toner cartridge needs replacement, or the paper
jams, incoming faxes will be received to memory.
When you have received a document in memory, CAN’T PRINT
DATA will appear in the display, alternating with a message indicating
the problem. When you correct the problem, the stored documents
will automatically print out.
If you received documents in memory because the fax ran out of
paper, be sure to add paper which is the same size as the paper
previously used. If not, the document print-out size may not match the
size of the printing paper.
Caution!
When documents are stored in memory, do not turn the power off.
This will erase all of the contents.
If documents received in memory are lost due to a power failure or
other interruption in the power supply, a CLEAR REPORT will be
printed out when the power is restored. This gives information
about the receptions lost, including the fax numbers of the transmit-
ting machines if they are available.
