z q x Needle Threader Step z Lower the presser foot. Push the needle threader lever down as far as it will go. The hook comes out through the needle eye from behind. q Needle threader knob w Hook Step x w Draw the thread down around the threader guide and under the hook. e Threader guide e c w Step c Release the threader knob slowly while holding the thread end with your hand. A loop of the thread is pulled up through the needle eye. Step v v Remove the loop from the threader and pull out the thread end from the needle eye. NOTE SINGER® recommends SINGER® Style 2000 (woven) and 2001(knit) chromium needles for your machine. Need help selecting the right needle?
