Turning the Beam Receive on or off Your CLIÉ handheld has a Beam Receive feature that you can turn on and off. When you turn off the Beam Receive function, you cannot receive data via beaming but your CLIÉ handheld battery is conserved. By default, the Beam Receive function is set to On. 1 Tap the arrow V in the upper right corner of the Preferences screen and select General. The General Preferences screen is displayed. 2 Tap the arrow V next to Beam Receive and select On or Off. • On: Enables the Beam Receive function. • Off: Disables the Beam Receive function. Turning the Beam Receive on or off
Your CLIÉ handheld has a Beam Receive feature that you can turn on and off.
When you turn off the Beam Receive function, you cannot receive data via
beaming but your CLIÉ handheld battery is conserved. By default, the Beam
Receive function is set to
