002BA409 KN English N Pull up the spool housing - turn counterclockwise - approx. 1/6 turn - until it engages - and then allow it to spring back N Pull the ends of the line outward Repeat operation as needed until both ends of the line are approx. 13 cm long. Cutting attachments with 3 or 4 blades (2, 3) can face in any direction - turn over these cutting attachments periodically to avoid uneven wear. N Use the guard ring for mowing tools N Attach the deflector for metal mowing tools N Position cutting attachment (1) The collar (a) must engage the hole (b) in the cutting attachment! N Fit the thrust washer (2) - curvature faces upward N Position thrust plate (3) N Block the shaft N Screw on the nut (4) counterclockwise and tighten Remove the tool used to block the shaft. Block the shaft

Screw on the nut (4)
counterclockwise and tighten
Removing cutting attachments

Block the shaft
N
Unscrew the nut clockwise
Always switch off the engine to
load the mowing head by hand –
otherwise there is a
risk of injury!
The collar (a) must engage the
hole (b) in the cutting attachment!
Remove the tool used to block the
shaft.
A nut that moves too easily should
be replaced.
