315 Glossary Zoomed Video (ZV): A PCMCIA standard which adapts the PC Card slot to allow the insertion of a ZV PC Card. Inserting a ZV PC Card establishes direct communication between the PC Card controller and the audio and video controllers, allowing large amounts of multimedia data to bypass the CPU or system bus.
