O PLAY MODE Chapter Repeat 2 Press PLAY. The unit starts repeat playback or •PLAY random playback. Press PLAY within about 5 seconds after you press PLAY MODE. CANCEL O CLEAR Notes: • If you press the PLAY MODE button during playback, the unit automatically starts repeat playback and random playback after finishing the current title, chapter or track. • Some discs may not permit repeat operation. • You cannot use the random playback function in conjunction with the memory playback function. co Repeating a specific segment 1 Press REPEAT A-B at the beginning of the segment (point A) you want to play repeatedly. PROGRAM A- O REPEAT A-B 2 Press REPEAT A-B again at the end of the segment (point B). PROGRAM O REPEAT A-B The DVD video player automatically returns to point A and starts repeat playback of the selected segment (AB). ■ To resume normal playback Press CLEAR. CANCEL O CLEAR Notes: • Some discs may not permit A-B repeat operation. • You cannot set the A-B repeat function for a segment that includes multiple camera angles (56). • You can specify a segment only within the current title or track (VIDEO CD). • There may be a slight difference between point A and the location where playback actually resumes depending on the disc.
