Basic setup Basic setup The "BASIC SETUP" feature is a useful way to set up your system quickly and with minimal effort. Notes • Make sure you disconnect your headphones from this unit. • If you wish to configure this unit manually using more precise adjustments, use the detailed parameters in "SOUND MENU" (see page 45). • Altering any parameters in "BASIC SETUP" resets all parameters manually adjusted in "SOUND MENU" (see page 45). • Initial settings are indicated in bold under each parameter. • Press 8RETURN on the remote control to return to the previous menu level. 1 Press 4AMP on the remote control. 2 Press HMENU. "BASIC SETUP" appears in the front panel display. 5 Press 7n to select "SUBWOOFER" and then 7l / h to select the desired setting. SUBWOOFER .. YES .BASIC SETUP 3 Press 7ENTER to enter "BASIC SETUP". "ROOM" appears in the front panel display. ROOM: S >M L Choices: YES, NONE • Select "YES" if you have a subwoofer in your system. • Select "NONE" if you do not have a subwoofer in your system. 6 Press 7n to select "SPEAKERS" and then 7l / h to select the number of speakers connected to this unit. 4 Press 7l / h to select the desired setting. Select the size of the room where you have installed your speakers.
