In Brief 1-9 Passenger Sensing System The passenger airbag status indicator will be visible on the instrument panel when the vehicle is started. See Passenger Airbag Status Indicator on page 5‑12. 2. Move the control to adjust the mirror. 3. Turn the selector switch to the O position to deselect the mirror. See Power Mirrors on page 2‑16. If the vehicle has heated mirrors, see Heated Mirrors on page 2‑17. Mirror Adjustment Exterior United States Canada The passenger sensing system turns off the front outboard passenger frontal airbag and knee airbag under certain conditions. No other airbag is affected by the passenger sensing system. See Passenger Sensing System on page 3‑24 for important information. Controls for the outside power mirrors are on the driver door. 1. Turn the selector switch to L (Left) or R (Right) to choose the driver or passenger mirror. Vehicles with a manual mirror adjustment have controls next to each mirror. See Manual Mirrors on page 2‑16.
