TROUBLESHOOTING Use the following troubleshooting chart to remedy symptoms you may experience. If the problem is not readily corrected, consult your Nissan dealer for assistance. SYMPTOM No power. Vehicle ignition is ON, power indicator is OFF. VCP does not operate. Power indicator is flashing. POSSIBLE CAUSE VCP is not plugged in. Blown fuse. The VCP has condensation and the protection circuit is operating. The temperature is too high and the protection circit is operating. The fuse may be burned out. The wiring is incomplete. Tracking need to be adjusted. Video tape is bad. The brightness is adjusted too low. SOLUTION Plug in VCP Replace fuse. Wait until the VCP becomes dry inside. This may take several hours. Wait until vehicle cabin temperature cools down. Replace fuse. Check the wire connections and connect it properly. Adjust tracking. Try another video tape. Check that brightness is properly adjusted and set it properly. Check again when the temperature is between 30°F and 113°F. Press the POWER button again to turn the power ON. Check jack. Check speaker control button. Disable the RSEM. Turn radio on. Power indicator LED is off. The picture has shadows, stripes, or spots. The screen is dark.
