WARNING ● Operating the engine with the air cleaner removed can cause you or others to be burned. The air cleaner not only cleans the air, it stops flame if the engine backfires. If it isn't there and the engine backfires, you could be burned. Do not drive with the air cleaner removed, and be careful when working on the engine with the air cleaner removed. ● Never pour fuel into the throttle body or attempt to start the engine with the air cleaner removed. Doing so could result in serious injury. ADI1103 ADI1104 1. Remove the windshield wiper arms. ● Lift the wiper arm away from the windshield surface until the wiper is perpendicular to the windshield. ● Lift and remove the wiper arm, while holding the small retaining clip at the base of wiper arm outward. 2. Remove the cowl cover. ● Remove the six screws. ● Open the hood. CABIN AIR FILTER The cabin air filter restricts the entry of airborne dust and pollen particles and reduces some objectionable outside odors. The filter is located just in front of the windshield under the cowl cover on the passenger side of the vehicle. To replace the filter, perform the following procedure. 8-14 Do-it-yourself
