1. You can remove the radiator pressure cap when the cooling system, including the radiator pressure cap and upper radiator hose, no longer hot. Turn the is pressure cap slowly counterclockwise until f i s t it stops. (Don't press down while turning the pressure cap.) 2. Then keep turning the pressurecap, but now push down as you turn it. Remove the pressure cap. If you heara hiss, waitfor that to stop. hiss means A there is still some pressure left. You can be burnedif you spill coolant on hot engine parts.
