Configuration 6. Configuration Configuration and programming of the OpenCom X320 is performed by the Configurator, a special software application integrated into the system. The Configurator is operated via the Web console, which can be run on any PC connected to the OpenCom X320. The OpenCom X320 Web console Using the Web console, you can: ■ perform the initial configuration of the OpenCom X320, ■ configure users of the OpenCom X320 and authorise them to use certain system services, ■ carry out further system maintenance, ■ use PC-supported telephony functions, ■ read out call charge information, ■ access the OpenCom X320 telephone book. The Web console has an integrated online help function that offers comprehensive information on configuration and maintenance of the OpenCom X320 (see Loading the Online Help starting on page 69). 64
