Onboard IDE Secondary Channel This parameter lets you enable or disable the secondary IDE channel. When enabled, it allows you access the devices connected to the secondary channel. When disabled, it deactivates the connected devices. The default setting is Disabled. Onboard PS/2 Mouse (IRQ 12) This parameter enables or disables the onboard PS/2 mouse. When enabled, it allows you to use the onboard PS/2 mouse assigned with IRQ12. When disabled, it deactivates the mouse and makes IRQ12 available for use of other devices. The default setting is Enabled. Onboard USB This parameter lets you enable or disable the USB controller on board. When enabled, it activates the USB function of the system. When disabled, it also deactivates the function. The default setting is Disabled . USB Legacy Mode This function, when enabled, lets you use a USB keyboard in a DOS environment. Set this to Disabled to deactivate the USB keyboard function in DOS. Onboard Ethernet Chip This parameter lets you enable or disable the LAN function on board. When enabled, it activates the LAN of the system. When disabled, it also deactivates the function. The default setting is Enabled. SMBUS Interrupt (IRQ9) The System Management Bus (SMBus) is used to control and obtain information from devices on a motherboard. It was designed for hybrid devices based on analog semiconductor technologies and with limited digital capabilities. Enabling this feature will reserve IRQ9 for SMBUS use.
