2.9 Removing a Pentium III Processor Follow these steps to remove the Pentium III processor module from the slot. 1. Remove the fan and temperature connectors (see Figure 2-2 and Table 2-2): CPU1 fan connector - CN20 CPU1 temperature connector - CN16 CPU2 fan connector - CN9 CPU2 temperature connector - CN10 2. Removing a Pentium III Processor
Follow these steps to remove the Pentium III processor module from the slot.
1.
Remove the fan and temperature connectors (see Figure 2-2 and Table 2-2):
CPU1 fan connector – CN20
CPU1 temperature connector – CN16
CPU2 fan connector – CN9
CPU2 temperature connector – CN10
2.
Unlock the latches that secure the processor module.
