Sending a standardized sentence You can select a standardized sentence when you send a mail. 1 Press and hold the Rotary encoder for more than 2 seconds. The Speed Dial display appears. 2 Press 7 (RETURN). The Telephone menu display appears. 3 Pres the 6 (SMS WRITE). The Standardized sentences are displayed. 4 Turn the Rotary encoder to select your desired sentence. 5 Press the Rotary encoder. The Send menu display appears. 6 Press either 1 (PHONE BOOK) to 3 (DIRECT CALL) of the Function Guide to select the address. To send from the PHONE BOOK or the CALL LOG 7 In the phone book display or the call log display, turn the Rotary encoder to select the address. Then press the Rotary encoder to enter it. The select display appears. 8 Press 1 ( ) to send. The SMS send display appears, and the mail is sent. To send from the DIRECT CALL 7 In the direct call display, turn the Rotary encoder to select the number. Then press the Rotary encoder to enter it. 8 Press 1 ( ). The SMS send display appears and the mail is sent. • To reply by REPLY of "SMS (Short Message Service) Operation" (page 42), press 6 (SEND) on the Send menu display to send. • If TEL mode is canceled by power off, etc., in the middle of making a short message, the unfinished message is not saved. 43-EN
