To begin using your support CD disc, just insert it into your CD-ROM drive and the support CD installation menu should appear. If the menu does not appear, double-click or run D:\ASSETUP.EXE (assuming that your CD-ROM drive is drive D:). 5.2.1 Installation Menu 5. S/W SETUP Windows 98 • Install ASUS PC Probe Vx.xx: Installs a simple utility to monitor your computer's fan, temperature, and voltages. • Install Bus Master IDE Driver: Installs SiS5595 Bus Master IDE Driver V1.53C. • Install VGA Driver: Installs the necessary VGA drivers and utilities to access the fea- tures of the integrated VGA controller. • Install Audio Driver (Optional): Installs the necessary audio drivers and utilities to ac- cess the features of the built-in PCI audio chipset. • Install ESS AudioRack32 (Optional): Installs the ESS AudioRack utilities. Refer to the online help for more information. • Install ESS Software Wave Table (Optional): Expands the audio sound card capability for increased sound effects. • Install PCCillin 98 Vx.xx: Installs the PC-cillin virus protection software. View the online help for more information. • Install ADOBE AcroBat Reader Vx.x: Installs the Adobe Acrobat Reader software nec- essary to view user's manuals saved in PDF format. Installation Menu

Install ASUS PC Probe Vx.xx:
Installs a simple utility to monitor your computer’s fan,
temperature, and voltages.

Install Bus Master IDE Driver:
Installs SiS5595 Bus Master IDE Driver V1.53C.

Install VGA Driver:
Installs the necessary VGA drivers and utilities to access the fea-
tures of the integrated VGA controller.
