CPU VCore [1.750V] (for Willamette), [1.500V] (for Northwood) When the CPU VCore Setting parameter above is set to [Manual], the CPU VCore item allows you to select a specific CPU core voltage. This field is not accessible when the CPU VCore Setting is set to [Auto]. CPU core voltage options vary for both Willamette and Northwood processors. See the following table: P4 Processor Voltage Range Willamette Northwood 1.750V, 1.775V, 1.800V, 1.825V, 1.850V, 1.875V, 1.900V, 1.925V, 1.950V 1.500V, 1.525V, 1.550V, 1.575V, 1.600V, 1.625V, 1.650V, 1.675V, 1.700V, 1.725V, 1.750V, 1.775V, 1.800V AGP Voltage Adjustment [Auto] This field is defaulted to [Auto]. Select the voltages to increase the power output to the AGP. Configuration options: [Auto] [1.5] [1.6] [1.7] DDR Voltage Adjustment [Auto] This field is defaulted to [Auto]. Select the voltages to increase the power output to the DDR memory. Configuration options: [Auto] [2.5] [2.6] [2.7] CPU Level 2 Cache [Enabled] This field is defaulted to [Enabled]. Select [Disabled] to turn off the CPU Level 2 built-in cache. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] BIOS Update [Enabled] This field functions as an update loader integrated into the BIOS to supply the processor with the required data. When set to [Enabled], the BIOS loads the update on all processors during system bootup. Configuration options: [Disabled] [Enabled] PS/2 Mouse Function Control [Auto] The default setting [Auto] permits the system to detect a PS/2 mouse at startup. If a mouse is detected, the BIOS assigns IRQ12 to the PS/2 mouse. Otherwise, IRQ12 can be used for expansion cards. When you set this field to [Enabled], BIOS reserves IRQ12, whether or not a PS/2 mouse is detected at startup. Configuration options: [Enabled] [Auto] ASUS P4S8X motherboard user guide 61
