Recording TAD Outgoing Message (MFC-620CN only) Recording the TAD Outgoing Message (TAD Message) is the first step you need to follow before you can turn on the TAD. Make sure your OGM is less than 20 seconds long. 1 Press Menu/Set, 2, 7, 1. The LCD prompts you to choose an OGM. 2 Press ▲ or ▼ to select TAD Message (not F/T Message). Press Menu/Set. This is the only setting you can select if you want to turn on the TAD. 3 Press ▲ or ▼ to select Record MSG. Press Menu/Set to record a message. For example: Hello. We are unable to take your call at this time. Please leave a message after the signal. 4 Press Stop/Exit. The TAD will play your OGM. 5 Press Stop/Exit. Listening to Outgoing Message (OGM) 1 Press Menu/Set, 2, 7, 1. 2 Press ▲ or ▼ to select TAD Message (or F/T Message). Press Menu/Set. 3 Press ▲ or ▼ to select Play MSG. Press Menu/Set. Adjust the volume by pressing Volume 4 Press Stop/Exit. or . 7 - 3 TAD (TELEPHONE ANSWERING DEVICE)
