CHAPTER 4 CONTROL PANEL SAVE SETTINGS Suppose you share this printer with others who want different control panel settings. Since more than one set of user settings can be stored in the printer's memory, you can easily reset the printer to your preferred settings after they are changed. For resetting the printer, see "RESET Button" in this chapter. Use the control panel to set the configuration of the printer to meet your needs and then enter this mode menu to save your settings. Two sets of user settings can be saved in the printer as follows: Display Message SAVE SETTING 1 SAVE SETTING 2 User Setting Save the current settings as No. 1 in the printer's memory. Save the current settings as No. 2 in the printer's memory. If you want to check the user settings, you can print a list of the settings with the Test button. See "TEST Button" in this chapter.  Note No user settings have been factory set. TIME SETTINGS A Real time clock is built into this printer. You can set the time in this mode. Display Message TIME SETTING TIME STYLE SUMMER TIME TIME ZONE User Setting Set the time. Set the time style shown on the display. Set summer time. Set time zone. 4-47

SAVE SETTINGS

printer’s memory.
