10 Making Copies Basic Copy Operation You can use your MFC as a copier, making up to 99 copies at a time. The MFC can stack the copies or collate (sort) them. Copying One Page 1 Place the original in the ADF, or on the scanner glass. 2 Press Copy , then wait five seconds-OR-Press Copy again. Do NOT pull on the paper while copying is in progress. COPYING To stop copying and eject the original, press Stop . P.01 Stacking Multiple Copies (Using the ADF) Unless you select SORT, multiple copies will be stacked (all copies of page 1, then all copies of page 2, etc.). 1 Insert the original face up in the ADF. 2 To stack the copies, press Copy . 3 Using the dial pad, enter the number of copies you want (up to 99). 4 Wait five seconds-OR-Press Copy again.
