Simultaneous Sub Recordings Simultaneous Sub Recordings You can record the same scene as the main recording also as a sub recording - a secondary recording with a lower video configuration and smaller file sizes. For example, you can record XF-AVC clips on a CFast card while the camera records or outputs RAW data, or record XF-AVC Proxy clips on the SD card while using the CFast 71 card for the main recording. The video configuration of XF-AVC (Intra) sub recordings on the CFast card can be selected but that of XF-AVC Proxy sub recordings on the SD card cannot be changed. XF-AVC Proxy clips have a video configuration of 2K with YCbCr 4:2:0, 8-bit color sampling and a bit rate of 24 Mbps or 35 Mbps*, which makes them very convenient for offline editing. Additionally, by specifying a LUT, you can obtain XF-AVC Proxy clips with different color space/gamma characteristics from those of the main recording. * Determined automatically depending on the video configuration of the main recording.
