Using the DRPD function
lf thereis an answering
machine
connected
to your
facsimile,
while
the facsimile
is ringing,
the answering
machine
is connected
to the telephone
circuit.
The
answering
machine
operates
normally
by playing
your
message
and
then
recording
the verbal
message
of the
caller.
While
the answer
message
is playing,
if the
facsimile
detects
an CNGsignal,
the facsimile
enters
the document
receiving
mode.

Whenboththe AUTO
and ANSHOOK
UPlamps
are
turned
off and thereis a call,
the facsimile
listens
to the
ring pattern
and determines
whichof the ring
patterns
is received.
TALK
and
the corresponding
username
are alternately
displayed,
then
you can execute
normal
manualmode operation.
