Follow
this procedure
to setthe fax for use
on your
telephone
line. There
aretwo typesof dialing
usedon
telephone
lines:
touch-tone
and pulse.
You have
to set
the fax according
to the type of line
that
you are using.
The fax is set for touch-tone
at the factory
before
shipping,
so if you are using
a touch-tone
line,
you
won't have
to change
this
setting.
Therlp switch
(tone/pulse)
is located
on the
right
rear
corner
of thefax,
near
thepower
cord.
Check
thesetting.
lf youwant
to change
it,
slide
theswitch
to
p
for
pulse
or r for
touch-tone.
