document,
go to the next

trying
to send

you pickup the handset
andsay
"Hello",
if no oneanswers,
this
means
someone
is
trying
to send
youa document
transmission
without
theCNG
signal.
Goto
the next
step.

The CNGsignal that triggers automaticreceiving on your
faxis always sent
if the otherpafty uses
One-touch
or
Coded speeddialing. The CNG signal
is generated
by the
majority
of facsimilemachines
in use. However,
if the
otherparty picks up the handset
and dials
your fax
manually
to sendyou a document,
the CNGsignal
is not
generated. Some
facsimile
machinescannotsend the
CNGslona/.

the fax,press

5 Hang
up
thehandset.
After
thereceived
document
is printed,
the
fax
returns
automatically
to standby.
