Reversal/Feed 1 When the predetermined time has lapsed since the trailing edge of the fed original passed through the document edge sensor (SR2002), the ADF motor (M2001) stops. Immediately after this, the ADF motor turns in the reverse direction to feed the original to the registration roller and the roller release solenoid (SL2003) turns on to release the delivery roller. After completion of re-pickup, the roller release solenoid (M2003) turns off at completion of scanning of the reverse side of the original. After this, re-reversal, feed, and delivery operations are performed. stops. Immediately after this, the ADF motor turns in the reverse direction to feed the original to the registration roller and the roller release solenoid (SL2003) turns
on to release the delivery roller.

The original is fed by the ADF motor (M2001), passing through the original scanning unit.
Thus, the original has been reversed. After completion of re-pickup, the roller release solenoid (M2003) turns off at completion of scanning of the reverse side of
the original.
After this, re-reversal, feed, and delivery operations are performed.
