Magnifying the Focal Point You can reduce the AF frame size • Press the n button to choose [AF Frame Size] in the 4 tab, then choose [Small]. • The AF frame is set to [Normal] when using Digital Zoom (p. 57) or Digital Teleconverter (p. 58). If the camera cannot focus when you press the shutter button halfway, the AF frame will turn yellow and will appear. Magnifying the Focal Point If you press the shutter button halfway, the AF frame will magnify and you can check the focus. What if the display does not magnify? The display will not appear magnified in [Face Detect] if a face cannot be detected or is too big in relation to the screen. In [Center], it will not appear magnified if the camera cannot focus.
