• At a shutter speed of 1/1000 second, the aperture presets to a value between F4.0 and F8.0. Shutter Speed Display The shutter speeds from 1000 to 4 in the display are actually the denominator of a fraction of a second. For example, 160 indicates a speed of 1/160 second.
