Unpacking and Installing the Controller Installing the Controller on a Desktop or Shelf When mounting the controller on a desktop or shelf, attach the rubber feet in the four circular marks near each of the corners on the bottom of the controller chassis, and place the chassis on any secure horizontal surface. Installing the Controller in a 4-Post Rack Caution The controller weighs 20 lbs (9.1 kg) with both power supplies installed. Two or more people must work together to install the controller. Warning This unit might have more than one power supply connection. All connections must be removed to de-energize the unit. Statement 1028 Follow these steps to mount the controller in a 4-post equipment rack: Step 1 Attach one of the front brackets to the controller using three M4 screws (see Figure 4). Follow the same steps to attach the second bracket to the opposite side. Note Only three of the four holes on each bracket are used (top, left, and right).
