To add phones by using BAT only (not in conjunction with TAPS), you first need to obtain the appropriate MAC address for each phone. To add a phone to the Cisco Unified Communications Manager, follow these steps: Procedure Step 1 Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 From Cisco Unified Communications Manager, choose Bulk Administration > Phones > Phone Template. Click Add New. Choose a Phone Type and click Next. Enter the details of phone specific parameters like Device Pool, Phone Button Template, Device Security Profile and so on. Click Save.
