Troubleshooting If you have problems in operating your player, please check the points below before contacting the Ativa Product Support Team. Cannot power on The battery may be exhausted and would require recharging the battery. Files cannot be downloaded Check the connection between the player and the computer No sound from the earphone Please ensure the volume is not 0 and the earphones are properly connected. Check to see if your earphones are functioning with other audio devices Check if the format of music file is supported by the player. Recording cannot be done Check if there is enough memory or battery capacity. Words appear abnormal in the LCD display Please ensure you've select the correct language. The buttons do not work Check if the buttons have been locked automatically. Press and hold the [ ] button to unlock the buttons. If unlocking does not work, RESET the player . Poor FM reception Check if the earphones are properly connected as the earphone cord functions as an antenna. Adjust the position of the player and earphone cord. Check if turning off other electrical devices in operation near your player improves reception. If effective, you may reduce the interference by using the player away from those electric devices. 29
