Important Safety Precautions Always follow these basic safety precautions when using your player. This will reduce the risk of product damage and personal injury. Do not disassemble, repair or modify the player by yourself. Refer servicing to qualified personnel. Do not dispose of the player in fire to avoid explosion because the player has built-in battery. Do not touch the player with bare hands if the built-in battery begins to leak. In the case of leakage, contact the Ativa Product support team. If any contact occurs to your body or clothing, wash thoroughly with water. If eye contact occurs, do not rub your eyes but immediately wash them with clean water and consult a doctor. Keep the player away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Do not expose the unit to rain or moisture to avoid any malfunction. Avoid usage in high static or magnetic environments to avoid interference and/or damage to the device Avoid striking or heavy impact to the player as damage to the device would likely occur. Disconnect the device from the computer when not in use. Cleaning should be done only with the device powered off and with a dry cloth. Always remember to back up your files. We will not be liable for the loss of data due to improper operation, repair or other causes. Precautions in using the earphone Do not use the earphones while operating an automobile or bicycle. It is not only dangerous, but also against the law. It's not recommended that you use the earphones at high volumes over and extended period of time as this may lead to hearing damage. 8
