D-Link DGS-1100 Series Switch User Manual Time The Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) is a protocol for synchronizing computer clocks through the Internet. It provides comprehensive mechanisms to access national time and frequency dissemination services, organize the SNTP subnet of servers and clients, and adjust the system clock in each participant. Clock Settings This window is used to configure the time settings for the Switch. To view the following window, click System > Time > Clock Settings, as shown below: Figure 5-13 Clock Settings window The fields that can be configured are described below: Parameter Time (HH:MM:SS) Date (DD / MM / YYYY) Description Enter the current time in hours, minutes, and seconds. Enter the current day, month, and year to update the system clock. Click the Apply button to accept the changes made. Time Zone Settings This window is used to configure time zones and Daylight Savings Time settings for SNTP.
