Section 3 - Configuration IPv4 - PPPoE Select PPPoE (Point-to-Point Protocol over Ethernet) if your ISP requires you to enter a PPPoE username and password in order to connect to the Internet. Click Save at any time to save the changes you have made on this page. Username Password Reconnect Mode Maximum Idle Time Enter the username provided by your ISP. Enter the password provided by your ISP. Select either Always on, On Demand, or Manual. Configurable when On Demand is selected. Enter a maximum idle time during which the Internet connection is maintained during inactivity. To disable this feature, select Always on or Manual as the reconnect mode. The default is 5 minutes. Address Mode Advanced Settings... Select Static IP if the following information has been provided by your ISP: IP address, MTU, and DNS server addresses. In most cases, select Dynamic IP. Advanced Settings... - Dynamic IP Address Mode Shows your chosen address mode.
