Section 3 - Configuration Network Go to Settings > Network to change the local network settings of the router and configure the DHCP settings. Click Save at any time to save the changes you have made on this page. LAN IP Address Subnet Mask Management Link Local Domain Name Enable DNS Relay Network Settings Enter the IP address of the router. The default IP address is 192.168.0.1. If you change the IP address, you will need to enter the new IP address in your browser to log in to the web configuration. Enter the subnet mask of the router. The default subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. The default address to access the router's configuration is http://R12-xxxx.local/ (where xxxx represents the last 4 digits of your router's MAC address). You can replace R12-xxxx with a name of your choice. Enter the domain name (optional). Disable this option to transfer the DNS server information from your ISP to network clients for setting DNS server. If enabled, network clients will then set the router's IP address as the DNS server. D-Link R12 User Manual 60
