Prerequisites 1 Remove the base cover. 2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in "Removing the hard drive". 3 Remove the solid-state drive. 4 Remove the wireless card. 5 Remove the rear-I/O cover. Procedure 1 Note the cable routing and remove the antenna cables from the routing guides on the computer base. 2 Disconnect the tron-light cable from the system board. 3 Open the latch and disconnect the macro-keys cable, and then remove the cable from the routing guide on the computer base. 4 Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard-backlight cable, and then remove the cable from the routing guide on the computer base. 5 Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable, and then remove the cable from the routing guide on the computer base. 39

Prerequisites

Remove the
base cover

Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in
"Removing the hard drive"

Remove the

Remove the

Procedure
1
Note the cable routing and remove the antenna cables from the routing
guides on the computer base.

Disconnect the tron-light cable from the system board.

Open the latch and disconnect the macro-keys cable, and then remove the
cable from the routing guide on the computer base.

Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard-backlight cable, and then
remove the cable from the routing guide on the computer base.
5
Open the latch and disconnect the keyboard cable, and then remove the
cable from the routing guide on the computer base.
