Procedure 1 Using the alignment posts, place the I/O board on the palm-rest assembly and align the screw holes on the I/O board with the screw holes on the palmrest assembly. 2 Replace the two screws (M2.5x5) that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest assembly. 3 Slide the I/O-board cable into the connector on the I/O board and close the latch to secure the cable. 4 Adhere the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to the I/O board. Post-requisites 1 Replace the computer base. 2 Replace the rear-I/O cover. 3 Replace the solid-state drive. 4 Follow the procedure from step 4 to step 6 in "Replacing the hard drive". 5 Replace the wireless card. 6 Replace the base cover. 60

Procedure
1
Using the alignment posts, place the I/O board on the palm-rest assembly
and align the screw holes on the I/O board with the screw holes on the palm-
rest assembly.

Replace the two screws (M2.5x5) that secure the I/O board to the palm-rest
assembly.
3
Slide the I/O-board cable into the connector on the I/O board and close the
latch to secure the cable.
4
Adhere the tape that secures the I/O-board cable to the I/O board.
Post-requisites

Replace the
