Replacing the Palm Rest 1. Slide the touch pad cable into the touch pad connector and push the connector tabs to secure the cable to the connector. 2. Align the tabs on the palm rest with the slots on the computer. 3. Slide the palm rest into position. 4. Turn the computer over and replace the three screws that secure the palm rest to the computer base. 5. Replace the battery pack (see "Replacing the Battery Pack" on page 11). CAUTION: Before turning on the computer, replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside the computer. Failure to do so may result in damage to the computer.
