NOTE: When setting or changing the MTU value, make sure to verify that the Ethernet network switch is capable of supporting an MTU size that is equal to or larger than the value being set. Any mismatch in MTU values between the clients, Ethernet network switch, and the DR4000 system will make it inoperable. CAUTION: If the existing bonding setting is changed, the connection to the DR4000 system may be lost unless you are sure that the DR4000 system can accept this bonding type. If no options are specified, the following prompts are shown: administrator@mydr4000 > network --setbonding argument missing: --mode or --mtu is required If you specified options, but did not provide values, you are prompted as shown: administrator@mydr4000 > network --setbonding --mode --mtu --mode requires a value : --mode < ALB | 802.3ad > bond mode to use. Valid modes: ALB or 802.3ad --mtu requires a value : --mtu bond MTU to use. Valid range: 512 - 9000. --nslookup, --destination To perform a DNS lookup for a DR4000 system, enter the example commands string at the system prompt: administrator@mydr4000 > network --nslookup --destination 10.25.20.15 10.25.20.15 has name sys-59.acme.storage.local. If no options are specified, the following prompts are shown: administrator@mydr4000 > network --nslookup --destination missing: Destination IP address or hostname --traceroute, --destination To perform a trace route for packets sent to a DR4000 system, enter the example commands string at the system prompt: administrator@mydr4000 > network --traceroute --destination 10.25.20.20 28 Managing the DR4000 System
