The --clear_foreign command changes the state of a physical disk. Use this when inserting a disk from another appliance, or the disk had been used in a different RAID configuration. After installing, enter the following command string at the system prompt: NOTE: The output of the system --show --hardware CLI command lists the DR4000 disk's current states. One possible state is "foreign", which indicates that the --clear_foreign command needs to be run. Maintaining the DR4000 System
The
--clear_foreign
command changes the state of a physical disk. Use this
when inserting a disk from another appliance, or the disk had been used in a
