Possible Cause Wall power may not be reaching the MCS Netbooks due to • unplugged power cable • improper docking of Netbook(s) • tripped electrical circuit Power/Fault Status Amber Indicator Indicates possible overheating. light is flashing. Solution • Ensure that power cable is plugged into a wall outlet. • Verify that Netbook is docked properly: the green tab at the edge of the dock is visible. • Check circuit breakers. • If another electrical device is sharing the same circuit as the MCS, unplug the other device. • Ensure areas around the fans and vents are unobstructed. • Take measures to reduce room temperature below 30° C (86° F). • Power cable must remain plugged-in so that the fans continue to operate. Once the temperature has dropped to a safe level, charging will resume.
