Finding Nodes You can use the Find option to search for a particular node on the Logical tab, the Physical tab, or the Mappings tab of the Array Management Window. The search might be based on a particular node name, the RAID level, virtual disk capacity, or specific free capacity nodes. The search might be based also on one of these combinations: • The node name and the RAID level • The node name and the virtual disk capacity To find nodes: 1 In the AMW, select View Find. 2 Based on the type of search, select one of these options, and go to the indicated step: • Search by name-see step 3. • Search by special criteria-see step 4. 3 Type the name of the node to be found in Find node. See step 8. 4 Based on the search criteria, select one of these options, and go to the indicated step: • Find all virtual disks with RAID level-Go to step 5. • Find all virtual disks with capacity-Go to step 6. • Find all free capacity nodes-Go to step 7. 5 To search for all nodes based on their RAID level, perform these steps: a Select Find all virtual disks with RAID level. b Select the RAID level from the list. c Go to step 8. 6 To search for all nodes based on their virtual disk capacity, perform these steps: a Select Find all virtual disks with capacity. b Type the capacity in the GB box. c Specify that the capacity to be matched is less than, equal to, or greater than the capacity entered in the GB box. d Go to step 8.
