A USB storage device can be used to save configurations, upload configurations, and upgrade image to the controller. USB functions are controlled through the LCD panel on the front of the controller. For more information on the LCD panel and its functions, see "LCD Panel" on page 17. Serial Console Port For direct local management of the controller, use the serial console port located on the front (see Figure 5). This port is an RJ-45 female connector that accepts an RS-232 serial cable with a male connector.
