Prerequisites NOTE: Remove the SD card before removing the palm-rest assembly to avoid damage to the SD card. 1. Remove the base cover. 2. Remove the battery (half-length) or the battery (full-length). 3. Remove the memory modules. 4. Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 4 in "Removing the hard drive". 5. Remove the solid-state drive (half-length) or the solid-state drive (full-length). 6. Remove the speakers. 7. Remove the wireless card. 8. Remove the fans. 9. Remove the heat sink. 10. Remove the system-board assembly. 11. Remove the keyboard. 12. Remove the fingerprint reader daughter-board (optional). 13. Remove the display assembly. 14. Remove the power-adapter port. Prerequisites
NOTE:
Remove the SD card before removing the palm-rest assembly to avoid damage to the SD card.

Remove the

Remove the
battery (half-length)

3.
Remove the

4.

Remove the
