Section 4. Uninstallation Version 2.65 Jul. 2009 The provided Uninstaller must be used to uninstall an installed EPSON OPOS ADK program. The following methods are available for uninstallation. • Choose the "Add/Remove Programs" (in Windows 2000/XP) or the "Uninstall a program" (in Windows Vista) in the Control Panel, and then select the "EPSON OPOS ADK Version 2.xx". In both cases, the EPSON OPOS ADK uninstaller is executed. When uninstalling, first make sure that all running applications are closed; both those used by OPOS as well as any other applications. However, when using Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista, only privileged users can use install programs. Please consult a user who has privilege for the machine. 4.1. Uninstallation Procedures Perform uninstallation using either of the methods prescribed. (1) The "Information..." dialog box is displayed. This dialog box displays the version(s) compatible with the Uninstaller. Confirm that the version to uninstall using the Uninstaller is listed. To continue, select Yes. To cancel the operation here, select No. (2) The "ADK Selection" dialog box is displayed. All the currently installed EPSON OPOS ADK versions are displayed. Select the version to uninstall. Multiple versions cannot be selected. If you check the Complete uninstall of selected OPOS ADK check box, full uninstallation is performed. If the check mark is removed, it is possible to select the device(s) to be removed. When the selection has been made, select the [Next] button. If checked, go to step (4). Uninstallation
The provided Uninstaller must be used to uninstall an installed EPSON OPOS
ADK program. The following methods are available for uninstallation.
Choose the "Add/Remove Programs" (in Windows 2000/XP) or the "Uninstall a
program" (in Windows Vista) in the Control Panel, and then select the "EPSON
OPOS ADK Version 2.xx".
In both cases, the EPSON OPOS ADK uninstaller is executed.
When uninstalling, first make sure that all running applications are closed; both
those used by OPOS as well as any other applications.
However, when using Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista, only
privileged users can use install programs. Please consult a user who has
privilege for the machine.
4.1. Uninstallation Procedures
Perform uninstallation using either of the methods prescribed.

The “Information...” dialog box is displayed.
This dialog box displays the version(s) compatible with the Uninstaller.
Confirm that the version to uninstall using the Uninstaller is listed. To
continue, select Yes. To cancel the operation here, select No.

The “ADK Selection” dialog box is displayed.
All the currently installed EPSON OPOS ADK versions are displayed.
Select the version to uninstall. Multiple versions cannot be selected. If you
check the Complete uninstall of selected OPOS ADK check box, full
uninstallation is performed. If the check mark is removed, it is possible to
select the device(s) to be removed. When the selection has been made,
select the [Next] button. If checked, go to step (4).
To return to the previous dialog box, select the [Back] button.
