Version 2.65 Jul. 2009 [Help] button Use this button to display the help on the dialog box by clicking this button. Use this screen to set the details of Keyboard Hook Control. "Start hooking keyboard input for this device" check button If the [Yes] button is selected, then the EPSON Keyboard Hook Control utility (hereafter referred to as "Hook Control") is placed in the Windows Startup group and when the system runs, monitoring of keyboard input to this device also starts. If the [No] button is selected, the hook control utility is not always loaded or placed in the Windows Startup group. In this case, however, it is possible to use this device in the OPOS application. If an input event occurs at this device then the OPOS control is not opened yet, then unanticipated keyboard input may result. To avoid this problem, it is necessary to register the hook control utility as the target of this device. If no keyboard-monitoring driver is used, then these buttons become disabled. Note that when version 1.xx and version 2.xx are installed simultaneously, it is impossible to use MSR and Keylock devices of 77 User's Manual Installer, SetupPOS, TMUSB

Use this button to display the help on the dialog box by clicking this
button.
Use this screen to set the details of Keyboard Hook Control.
"Start hooking keyboard input for this device" check button
If the [Yes] button is selected, then the EPSON Keyboard Hook Control
utility (hereafter referred to as "Hook Control") is placed in the Windows
Startup group and when the system runs, monitoring of keyboard input
to this device also starts.
If the [No] button is selected, the hook control utility is not always loaded
or placed in the Windows Startup group.
In this case, however, it is possible to use this device in the OPOS
application.
If an input event occurs at this device then the OPOS control is not
opened yet, then unanticipated keyboard input may result.
To avoid this problem, it is necessary to register the hook control utility
as the target of this device.
If no keyboard-monitoring driver is used, then these buttons become
disabled.
